Sid Gandhi is a technology leader and entrepreneur. He is currently CEO of web3 database company Polybase, where he is on a mission to restore humanity's control of its information.

Previous to co-founding Polybase, he led product and technical strategy for simulation at Cruise where simulation frameworks were running 200k+ hours of autonomous driving a day, generating petabytes of data.

Before joining Cruise, Sid co-founded Hmatix Cybersecurity to solve network security challenges for healthcare as a result of WannaCry and other ransomware attacks. The team deployed solutions at Kaiser Permanente, Mayo Clinic and other hospitals.

Sid led product at software consulting firm Moback where he built teams for Fortune 500 clients focused on robotics and simulation and grew revenue from key clients by 6x.

Before Moback, Sid was a software engineer at Apple where he was the tech lead for "Hey Siri, get me an Uber" and other iOS projects for releases 9, 10 and 11 including Apple Maps Transit.

Sid's alma mater is the University of Southern California (USC), where he served on the executive board of the Business Film Festival, was a project lead for pro bono consulting organization LACI and performed with the award winning a cappella team Asli Baat.

He has given talks and presentations at Cruise, Gartner, French Consulate and others on infrastructure, cybersecurity, AR and deepfakes.
